Maher chides the RIGHT for their paranoia about what they think Shabama MIGHT do.

Somebody needs to give Politico a FUCKING clue! We critics of Obombster on the Left aren't criticizing a chimera.

We do not simply FEAR that he will unleash drones on American citizens to kill them overseas, or sign legislation which permits the indefinite detention of "enemies" because that's what he ALREADY done.

We do not merely FEAR tht he will hand the tatters of thhe social safety net over to those who want to destroy it, because he has ALREADY done that.

We do not FEAR that he will hand the economy BACK to the very rat-bastards who sank it in the first place, because he has ALREADY done that.

We do not only FEAR that he will expand the scope and scale of USer military adverntures in the world because he's ALREADY done that.

Which is to say, contrary to Politicor/Maher's assertions, we are NOT criticizing an "IMAGINARY" Obombster.

In this case, Stockman conveniently overlooks the notorious, infamous, criminal, fraudulent manipulations of real estate and building loans by the Savings & Loan industry, famously led by one of the Sons of Bush, which began in the early '80s while Stockman was himself still preaching the gospel of supply-side, trickle-down enrich the rich economics which in a "purer" form he still seems to advocate for even today. Though he does at least endorse the re-introduction of the limitations removed when Glass-Steagall was repealed by the "bank-stahz" back in the day.

We need only regard how television was co-opted, and its liberatory poitential was turned aside, to become--along with the rest of its flickering-screened scions--the most POTENT agent of propaganda promulgation ever invented.

I regard the present structure of the Intertubez as I regard the Constitution: It works pretty well as it stands, and fucking around with it pretty much invites the bullies in, so leave it the fuck alone.

There persists a serious canard about the nature of USer "media," which is universally accused by the Fucktard Right of some kind of "liberal bias" when the radicals on the right want to demonize anyone who is willing to suggest that 'truth' doesn't always--or even usually) conform to the delusions springing from the painfully misshapen skulls of the Rightwing Fucktard militias, etc....

The "real truth" is that majority of the media (TV, radio, internet, print, movies, books, billboards, even ISPs) is owned by big corporations which strive endlessly, and loudly, to protect the radical conservative agenda of which they are the primary sponsors. The CorpoRat/SCUM "press" are the wholly-owned subsidiaries of the Rightard Oligarchs, Aristos, and Elites. Their reach is enormous, and their ties bind ever so tightly.

This article was produced simply as a counter-weight to the claim by the radical right wing that all media is liberal. From big news outlets to small time blogs, there are many dozens--probably HUNDREDS--of sites that you want to avoid when trying to get good news and information. This is a list--admittedly incomplete and in no particular order--of 50, or so of the worst--that is, the least reliably truthful, most evidently bullshit-filled--places you could go to get your news.
