Naomi Klein:
Well, unlike the government, which has allowed the public infrastructure to erode so that we now have collapsing bridges and levees, these guys are making serious and sturdy capital investments. They're planning for the future, building infrastructure -- in Blackwater's case, paramilitary infrastructure. Founded in 1996, the company has used the steady stream of contracts during the Bush years to build up a private army of twenty thousand on-call mercenary soldiers and a massive military base in North Carolina worth between $40 and $50 million. They have armored vehicles, helicopter gunships, manmade lakes, a Boeing 767, a Zeppelin. If you hadn't already guessed, We are SOOOOOOOOOO Fucked! Citizens? for-fucking-GET It. Internees? You fuckin' BETCHA.

Good time for the B'Waters to get with that classical theme, secession.

Nothing to worry about because there is nothing we can do. I was just over at Michelle Malkin's website the other day and one reader reminded us that they have all the guns. Now I read that they have a helicopter gunships, armored vehicles and a Zeppelin.
But the good news is that Republicans believe in the rule of law. The bad news is that they are still changing those laws to suit themselves.
I'm sure the wingnuts will point out how much safer the blackwater people make them feel.

Well, it's just ever-so-nice to know that *someone* is planning for the future.

A couple weeks ago I saw a large white 4WD vehicle driving down the road in my little suburb. It was only marked with large black letters SECURITY. Weird! I am not paranoid. They are already here I'm thinkin'.
